Our Senior Sharks teams compete in the Big V competition, run by Basketball Victoria.

Pathway to Elite Basketball

Our Big V squads play a vital role in both player and coach development. We take pride in nurturing talent within our VJBL program, providing a seamless transition for VJBL players into our Big V teams, fostering growth and success at every level.

Teams & Competitions

The Southern Peninsula Basketball Association (SPBA) enters teams in the following Big V competitions:

• Youth League Men & Youth League Women – 23 & under competition
• Senior Men’s & Senior Women’s teams – competing at the senior level

Free Entry for Junior Sharks

We encourage our junior players to support and learn from our senior teams!

• All Junior Sharks in uniform receive free entry to all Senior Sharks home games.
• SPBA Junior Domestic players receive a free three-game pass for home games each season.
