Rosebud RSL partner with SPBA

The Southern Peninsula Basketball Association are delighted to announce our official partnership with the Rosebud RSL.

Joining us as an Association Partner, the Rosebud RSL have been a considerable supporter of ours already, whilst the SPBA has also been doing what we can to strongly support the Rosebud RSL through our partnership to date, hosting a number of small events as well as an ANZAC Appeal Fundraiser already.

Brett Rowlands, Rosebud RSL’s General Manager explains the importance of this new partnership “The Rosebud RSL has decided to partner with the SPBA as they provide an excellent example of the power of sport in a community.  Sport provides a gateway that helps people, especially juniors, to develop into functioning members of our community.  The RSL is committed to greater Rosebud community, and the great work that SPBA does, especially with their junior programs, made it a natural fit for us”.

As a part of the Partnership, the SPBA hosted our inaugural ANZAC Day game in 2019, an event that the Rosebud RSL was full of praise for “The proposal and execution of the commemoration of ANZAC Day by the SPBA was first rate.  ANZAC Day is the most solemn of days on the calendar for the RSL, and we were very impressed with the way that the SPBA paid tribute to those who have served”.

Southern Peninsula’s Business Development Manager, Lucas Allen was full of praise for the Rosebud RSL “The Rosebud RSL has been outstanding to deal with and we are thrilled to build a partnership with them over time.  They were a tremendous support of our ANZAC Day games as well as our ANZAC Appeal Fundraiser”.

The Southern Peninsula Basketball Association encourages all of our community to head to the Rosebud RSL to enjoy their vibrant community venue with an excellent bistro, large Sportsbar and outdoor area.  They host functions regularly and they certainly look forward to the members of the SPBA discovering and using their facilities.

The Rosebud RSL and the Southern Peninsula Basketball Association look forward to a long and rewarding relationship with the each other, benefiting both groups into the future.
