Restrictions Update | 16th June 2021

Dear Members,

We welcome the further restrictions eased by the Victorian Government today.

Over the coming 24 hours, SPBA Operations Staff will be determining the final plan to our return to basketball.

We have earmarked a potential return to competition from Monday 21st June, however this will be confirmed tomorrow. We have a significant number of restrictions to comply with, particularly in relation to bringing back our junior competition, which include:

50 people capacity at each venue
No spectators allowed
Limited to minimum number of people required to run the activity

The next update will be on Thursday 17th June at 4:00pm.

In regards to VJBL & Big V Competition run by Basketball Victoria, these competitions will not proceed this weekend. For more information on this and directions from Basketball Victoria, please CLICK HERE.
