Coach Hillier was delighted with the outcome from the tournament “coming away with a Bronze medal and locking away 3rd in the world as well as top of the Asian region is pleasing”.  “I cannot put into words the amount of grit and determination these young ladies had in the face of some extremely strong competition and through adversity.  If we had to do it all over again, I couldn’t think of four better players to go back to battle with”.

This adds to an incredible career to date for Gerard, however, his last 12 months has been impeccable;

  • Australian Junior Championships – u18 Women; Bronze Medal
  • Basketball Victoria Country Championships – u16 Women; Gold Medal
  • Victorian Junior Basketball League – u16 Women; Champions
