Dempster & White to Lead Youth League Re-entry

Southern Peninsula Basketball Association is pleased to announce the Head Coach of our Youth League Women team for 2021, Stuart Dempster!

Dempster has recently held a number of roles at Chelsea and previously Southern Peninsula in a range of head coaching and assistant coaching roles in Big V and VJBL.
In addition to this, Stuart has an extensive career in VFL/AFL playing and coaching.

Dempster commented on the opportunity saying “I have a genuine desire to see athletes evolve into their full potential. Being part of building the pathway at Southern Peninsula is something I am really looking forward to.”

This announcement follows the announcement earlier today:

White takes on the Youth League Men role after being an assistant coach within the Senior Program for the last four years, most recently part of the 2019 Men’s Championship side. Ben comes with a vast range of experience including coaching VJBL at SPBA, assistant coach for the Country Victorian State Team for the past three years and also doing video analysis for a number of teams at multiple levels.

With this announcement we now round out our Senior Head Coach appointments for the 2021 Season! Over the coming weeks we will announce the assistant coaching line up!
