Annual General Meeting

Southern Peninsula Basketball Association would like to advise all members of the Annual General Meeting of the Association on Monday 7th December, 2020.

This meeting is being convened in accordance with the SPBA Constitution. All members under the Constitution are invited to attend.
For avoidance of doubt surrounding the COVID-19 break, a playing member will be considered a member which was a registered player in the last season and is intending to re-register in the next season.

Minutes of 2019 AGM: To be provided prior to the meeting

The Ordinary Business of the AGM will be:

    • Pass minutes from 2019 AGM
    • Receive the SPBA Annual Report
    • Receive the audited statement of accounts for the year 2019/2020
    • Table any business items received prior to the closing date
    • Conduct the election of the board member positions

Any business members wish to be tabled at the Annual General Meeting must be received by November 30th, 7:00pm to gm@sthpen.com.au.

Nominations:
SPBA are seeking nominations from eligible members for a position on the Board of Management. The Board of Management seeks the right group of people, with an appropriate mix of skills, knowledge and experience, that fits within our organisations objectives and strategic goals.

Nominations are welcome from eligible individuals that can provide purposeful contribution in a non-operational capacity to the organisation through their skills and experience in business, governance, sponsorship or related sport organisations.

Nominations for positions on the Board of Management must be lodged through the below form and received by the General Manager at least seven (7) days prior to the AGM.
