Youth League Head Coaches Announced

Youth League Head Coaches have been announced for our Big V sides! With both teams full of exciting young talent the addition of two great coaches makes this upcoming season even more exciting.

Scott Ramsey returns for his second year as Head Coach for our Youth League Men, “I am really appreciative about the opportunity to return as Head Coach of the Southern Peninsula Sharks Youth League Team and continue working with this young group after the interruptions to the back end of the 2021 season.” Ramsey described. 

Scott says he is excited about assisting this young team to strive for what they want to achieve within the sport of basketball, he knows the upside of the group and looks to take further strides forward in the upcoming season.

After being the assistant coach for the Youth League Women last season, Adam Goddard is now proudly leading the young squad as Head Coach into next year’s season.

For Adam, it is all about development, “My focus is going to be to develop the Youth League athletes, ready to step into a role within our State Championship Women’s team. I see Youth League as a very important transitional phase from VJBL into the Big V competition.” Goodard commented.

Adam also states how he will be looking at our VJBL teams for potential talent to also develop with the team.

In the hands of Scott and Adam, the future is bright for these young athletes’ basketball careers and will be incredibly exciting to watch.
