Thank you Raynisha Washington

We would like to take this opportunity to thank Raynisha Washington for her time and commitment to Southern Peninsula Basketball Association in her short time at the club.

Due to delays at the start of the season and the pre-mature end of the season, Raynisha only played four games. However, with the impact Ray has had off the court in her time at the Shark Tank, you would be forgiven for forgetting this!

Washington has had a profound impact off the court as a well known figure in the community and a role model for up and coming players. Raynisha was part of our first ever All Abilities Camp, along with coaching some of our highest attending Holiday Camps in recent history. Her investment in our community was clear with also coaching a Junior Sharks team, alongside coaching a number of our juniors across domestic and representative on an individual basis.

Raynisha finished the season with 18.75 points per game at 56.36% from the field, also a strong presence on the glass at 8.25 rebounds per game. Although a short season for Washington, Ray made the Shark Tank home and putting smiles on the faces of all that got to meet her.
