Grace Larkins – All Australian Showcase

Congratulations to U16 & Youth League athlete, Grace Larkins, on being selected to attend the inaugural All Australian Basketball Victorian Showcase!

 

The Showcase will be held April 9 – 11, 2021 at Altona Sports Centre. The event is for U16, U18, and U20 athletes with aspirations to play in the US collegiate system.

The Showcase will provide participating female and male athletes with:

    •    4 games guaranteed

    •    Game Video footage for scouting and recruitment purposes

    •    Skills assessment and advice

    •    Athletic and physical testing

    •    National and state player rankings

    •    US college recruitment seminar

    •    Showcase games.

    •    Elite coaches

 

Athletes were selected to participate by the All Australian Basketball Selection Panel based on assessing a combination of criteria, including; physical attributes, skill level, playing level and experience, and year in school.

 

The event is designed to assist Elite players with their dream of playing in the US Collegiate system.

 

Larkins will get the opportunity to learn from some of the best coaches and to showcase her talents on the court. The event is focused on recruitment to a college system internationally one day.

 

Grace has developed her way through the Southern Peninsula & Basketball Victoria High Performance Programs. Currently within the Basketball Victoria State Development Program, a member of the Senior Women’s Program and our Under 16 Sharks.
